Tracy Lynch, MSW

A writer at heart, Tracy Lynch has worked in hospice for over 15 years.  She has a bachelor's degree in creative writing and sociology from USC as well as a masters degree in social work from Columbia University in New York.  She began her hospice work from the point of view of a volunteer and then transitioned to a full time position as a team social worker where she has remained ever since.  Tracy's creativity and devotion to her job has earned her national recognition.  She continues to work in hospice and is currently deepening her practice by studying hypnotherapy as an augment to her counselling skills.

 

 


Jodie Escobedo, MD FAAFP

A family physician with over 10 years experience, Dr. Escobedo is also board certified in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine.  She has cared for and observed thousands of families go through the dying process in her private practice and during years as a hospice team physician.  She was nationally recognized in 2005 for her community service following a relief trip to the hurricaine ravaged state of Louisiana.  Hospice care has always been a special interest of Dr. Escobedo. Her sensitivity and ability to soothe familes during the complicated and wholistic transition of dying is enhanced by her understanding of the psychodynamic process.
